To improve language and reading skills,
developed by Scientific Learning to "re-wire" the brain
for
improved reading and comprehension ability, FastForWord
is an intensive computer series that can increase reading ability by 1 to 2
grade levels. Over eighty computers at the Adult School are equipped with
this remarkable program. The course is offered at no charge to adults and
low fees for students grades 3-12. Find out for
yourself! Take the series for 90 minutes a day, 6-8 weeks and see! (Open

This 2-credit
class is completed in modules. On-site counselor works with students
to provide academic and career counseling services: Administration
and interpretation of career assessments; helping students establish
short and long term academic and career goals; assisting students to
develop functional career documents (résumé, references, cover
letter, application); providing interview workshops; referring
students to needed resources; conducting individual counseling
sessions to help student minimize obstacles to educational progress.
Counselor on-site three days per week. Sign up to get started in the

of a High School Diploma keep you from the jobs you want. For those who
qualify, a High School Diploma can be earned through Oroville Adult
Education by
meeting with a teacher weekly and completing the assignments at home.
Independent Study is a continuously voluntary, student education option.
Students may enroll at any time.

an appointment to see what you need to do to get started. Day or evening
appointments possible.
A
refundable book deposit of $25 is required. There must be a written
request for refund within 90 days after the student either withdraws or
graduates.
